Shown with special thanks to filmmaker Matt McCormick, Buzz One Four uncovers a hidden chapter of Garrett County history—the dramatic story of a 1964 Cold War B-52 bomber carrying two thermonuclear bombs that crashed near Savage Mountain, just 90 miles from Washington, D.C.
 

Long kept classified and largely suppressed by the U.S. Air Force, this incident is deeply personal for McCormick, whose grandfather was the pilot of the ill-fated flight. Through careful investigation of this crash and other nuclear weapons accidents, Buzz One Four challenges viewers to consider whether the United States may have faced greater danger from its own arsenal than from its Cold War adversaries.
