DESCRIPTION:Join us under the tent for a unique presentation of literary and musical talent! Join us for readings by poets Kevin Chesser (Thomas\, WV) and Jen Browne (Frostburg\, MD). Both Kevin and Jen have published books of poetry in the past year.  In addition\, Jesse Milnes will play some beautiful tunes.\n\nKevin Chesser is a writer and musician whose work has appeared or is forthcoming in Hobart\, drDOCTOR\, Pithead Chapel\, A Common Well\, the Talking Book\, Empty House Press\, and elsewhere. His first collection of poetry\, "Relief of My Symptoms"\, was published in 2023 by Ghost Palace Press. He lives in Thomas\, West Virginia.\n\nJennifer Browne loves to fall in love with other people's dogs. She has some poems in chapbooks- Whisper Song (tiny wren publishing\, 2023) and The Salt of the  Geologic World (Bottlecap Features\, 2023)- and journals\, including Steel Jackdaw\, Gargoyle\, and Humana Obscura. She lives in Frostburg\, Maryland.\n\nFrom Elkins\, WV\, Jesse Milnes is a prize winning old time fiddler\, guitar picker\, and singer\, a former member of the neo-honky tonk band the Sweetback Sisters\, and longtime instructor at the Augusta Heritage Center.\n\nBurgers and beverages will be available beginning at 5:30\, with entertainment scheduled to begin at 6:30.\n\nThis event will be outdoors\, under a large tent among our flower garden and orchard. Please dress for the weather!\n\nTickets available online NOW\, and  at the door the night of the event.  Cash\, card  and Venmo accepted.
