DESCRIPTION:The Chamber is pleased to announce that the Deep Creek Volunteer Fire Company will be hosting our August Business After Hours on Thursday\, August 14th from 5:00 pm- 7:00 pm. \n\n\n\nThe mission of the DCVFC is to respond and mitigate emergencies experienced by customers in the McHenry and surrounding areas by using the most up-to-date training\, industry leading equipment and the most dedicated volunteer professionals in the fire service. As a 100% volunteer organization\, they heavily rely on community support to make all of their operations possible. Thank you for your support! \n\n\n\nThe DCVFC is planning on displaying all of their equipment and having some hands on experiences for guests that include: vehicle extrication (i.e. cutting up a car to rescue an entrapped victim)\, spraying water from high pressure hoses\, riding in the bucket of the ladder truck\, dragging dummies\, and wearing the turn-out (aka: bunker gear) to include air packs if you are willing.\n\n\n\nEnjoy delicious food and drinks catered by Brenda's Pizzeria as you mingle with fellow Chamber members and Chamber staff at our monthly networking events. Don't forget your business card to enter to win prizes.
