DESCRIPTION:Start your Cold Exposure Training now because the Community Dunk is returning for a second year on Thursday\, February 20\, 2025! Last year the community rallied around the event in a BIG WAY and 56 dunkers and 181 donors raised nearly $16\,000!\n\n\n\nThis is specifically geared toward local community engagement. This event is guaranteed to be a smaller more intimate affair with a local flair! If you are a local\, avoid the crowds of the Saturday Dunk but still support the athletes and Unified  teammates of Special Olympics Maryland   Garrett County. This event is generously sponsored by First Peoples Community Federal Credit Union\, G&W Lumber\, Inc.\, and New Earth Landscapes. \n\n\n\nIn partnership with Special Olympics Maryland the Garrett County Chamber of Commerce is holding a special Business After During Hours networking event in tandem with the 2nd Annual Community Dunk and you're invited! Enjoy delicious food and drinks catered by UNO Pizzeria & Grill as you mingle with fellow Chamber members and cheer on the local dunkers.
